SAILING LOVE Between the Sky and the Sea
Our organization is the result of the continual investment in knowledge, gaining sailing experience and navigational skills.
An immeasurable love for sailing, the sea, the breezes, the people of good will and the Nature in general have been the driving force throughout.
Its founder and the owner is Janko Ivaniš – the lover of the boats and sea since early childhood.
From ashore Janko used to admire the sea and the skilful skippers up to year 2000 when his love for the sea matured to the point when he was able to set off to the rough waters on his own. After accomplishing the highest possible education and professional qualifications Janko chose his own path to sailing – for fun with friends at first but soon afterwards commercially as a professional skipper in charters. All his knowledge was polished through exciting sailing races – regattas, on big cruisers along with transfers and delivery of the vessels in the Adriatic and the Mediterranean Seas accumulating experience and adding up new knowledge all the time.
After establishing “Sailing Love” Janko decided to go publicly offering his services in traditional sailing, in educational courses and special programmes where sailing is combined with a small school of Mediterranean cuisine , short courses in photography and free diving or alternatively, yoga and meditation .
