A short Course in Landscape Photography

Returning home from a trip without any memories would be like not having made a trip at all or putting it in a somewhat more up to date version “unless published it did not take place”.  In both cases it is the photographs that are essential; in the former the photos would be a reminder of our wonderful experiences and locations visited, in the latter the material for the omnipresent social networks.
The artistic photography has recently developed into two different trends: travel photography and landscape photography. But why are we telling you all this? To a very good reason!

In our programme we have included a week long cruising with Roman Avdagić aboard, an experienced photographer and a photography teacher. For years Roman has been teaching photography within the activities in Fotoklub Klik which he founded and has been leading with a great success. In addition Roman is a certified teacher in beginner and advanced photography which he teaches at Public Open University Zagreb. Last but not least, the social media abounds of his works captured during numerous mountain-bike and hiking trips throughout the wilderness  of Velebit and other Croatia’s national parks and nature reserves.

This time we have chosen the Kornat archipelago for its magnificent scenery all year round. A week long cruising will secure all this magic be caught by a camera. Roman will teach you things like aperture, exposure, shutter speed, ISO and much more. Our photographic backdrop will include  magical dawns breaking out, poetical sunsets at sea, moments of playful sun reflections on waves, almost vertical cliffs on the outer side of the Kornat island Telašćica, pristine inlets and turquoise waters, starry skies and dazzling moonlight.

Next to Roman will always be Janko, our leading skipper in charge of the safe cruising but also the one to discover the best viewing locations. But above all Janko will be providing delicious meals based on the traditional Dalmatian cuisine.

The Short Course in Photography is organised on a large sailing catamaran of the partner charter agency with a minimum of eight participants to be accommodated in four double cabins. All participants are required to have their own cameras.

• The vessel with all fees including the residence tax
• Breakfast, light lunch, dinner aboard the boat with water and non alcoholic drinks served
• Marina, port and anchorage fees
